Wot ho Mish fans! here's a list of useful Mission-related information, including the current tourdates, as culled from the official page by Lady Jen :), links to fan pages and the official MWIS website. Anything else we can think of will appear in time, feel free to suggest stuff to be included.
At last! The UK dates have been announced, a new date in Amsterdam has been added, and thanks to the Sisters Of Mercy pulling out of Eurorock, The Mission will now be appearing on the 5th instead of the 6th.
The Recon Tour is now about half-way through, The Mission having visted South Africa, Portugal, Spain, Greece, the U.S.A and South America to date (6/7/00).
Full tour details,

and Craig's infamous
tour diary
are available on the
official MWIS site.
Still wondering why they're called The Mission? Don't know who the current line-up are? Wondering what happened to former band members? Check out these sites for an exhaustive picture of The Mission...
Wayne Hussey organised an official website for The Mission last July shortly before the Resurrection Tour. A very simple affair it was, until Mish guitarist Mark Thwaite gave it a bit of a revamp with some nice graphics and a comprehensive layout. The site expanded during the course of the tour with lots of pictures and a diary by Craig Adams; then in March 2000, the site was extensively redesigned into its present incarnation by Paul Morgan.
Written and designed by (respectively) Karst de Jong and Johan Eskils, there can be few questions left unanswered by this meticulously researched biography of The Mission. Picking up the story where Names Are For Tombstones Baby ended, it traces the activities of our glorious leader up until the Resurrection Tour in 1999. Very good read, easily the equal of the official biography, and approved by The Mission who have it linked from the MWIS site:
Before the creation of these two sites, the main source of any information regarding The Mission was Bryan McPhail's extensive site. While Bryan's substantial collection of Mish-material has been eclipsed by the official site in the last year, his currently remains the only place to find complete guitar tab and lyrics to all the songs. Wayne was well impressed with Bryan's pages, and the nifty little history written by Bryan and Steve Hodgeson is featured on the official MWIS site:
While Bryan's site holds the biggest collection of Mish tab, Alex Richards' site contains an amazing range of Mission songs in RealAudio format. This collection is all the obscure B-sides, rarities and remixes so far tracked down by our Norm - enjoy the full versions in radio-quality at this site.
Here are all the Mission sites I could find - although I know there are more being written and I think I've lost a few URLs! If you want your site linked here, or you know a good site to include, please email it to me and I'll include it with pleasure :)
